Meet Carolanne

    My name is Carolanne (she/her) . I am a Registered Psychotherapist here at Tomsine Psychotherapy. I wholeheartedly believe in the inherent resilience and strength of humans and I take great care into promoting the autonomy and agency of my clients. In the therapy room, I am whimsical, warm and patient with the aim of creating a brave and non-judgmental space for exploration, self-compassion, and healing.

  • Research:

    • Pursuing research that is centered on African Caribbean Black (ACB) mental health from an anti-oppressive, intersectional lens.

    Clinical Experience:

    • I began gaining direct client contact experience through my clinical internship at Saint Paul University’s Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre and at Drice Psychotherapy.

    • Following my internships I began my work as a registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at Drice Psychotherapy.
